Skin Care
As a mom, you know you need to take care of your skin. But today we are going to talk about teenage skin care. It is ideal for teenagers to start caring for their skin at 10 to 14 years. During this time, hormones are already operating at full steam. The skin is extremely flexible, very taut and thicker in teenage years. Many teens are facing problems that cause acne. Acne vulgaris is the medical name for common acne – the presence of blackheads, whiteheads, and other types of pimples on the skin. A combination of several factors creates them. Such as the hormones, the inherent tendency, and environmental effects.
Why pimples and acne affect teenage skin?
During these years hormones (hormonal imbalances and changes) are the ones that cause the problems. Androgens are hormones that the body produces during teenage years in massive amounts. These hormones trigger the formation of fats. The fat that occurs in the pores causes them to clog. Thus, the bacterias begin to multiply at this site, which causes the inflammation. Inflammation is seen as red surrounding with a white head. The species that causes inflammation and infection are Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes.
Fat excretion can also be caused by irritant ingredients (such as alcohol, eucalyptus, menthol, camphor, and some other plant extracts) in some products. Therefore, it is best to avoid such products.
The anomaly is also caused by inappropriate moisturizing creams, masks, bases, correctors that contain ingredients that clog the pores. Below I will state which cosmetics are safe.
After the application of all the preparations, the skin should also be regularly cleaned. Twice a day (in the morning and the evening). In particular, the girls have to carefully clean the face in the evening, after an all day long wearing different makeups and creams. Imperfectly cleansed skin can make the situation worse, as dead cells are loaded onto the surface where they can clog pores. So the bacterias again have fun, and they start happily reproducing, and the problems are here again. So the solution is regular, consistent skin care. In any case, your child should not exaggerate by washing, as excessive washing will lead to drying out the skin. The natural skin reaction is such that it begins to accelerate the secretion of fat, which again leads to clogging of the pores and new pimples.
Special care
- Preserving purity is extremely important. For this purpose, use an Infinite Hydrating Cleanser, which is not greasy, and easily and gently balances the fat in the skin, and removes dirt and remnants of makeup. Avoiding soap, and by that preventing the skin from drying too much, is crucial.
- Apply a greater amount of toner (Balancing Toner or Aloe Activator) to the cleansed skin of the face and neck. Toner inhibits the formation of pimples and moisturizes the skin.
- Regardless of the type of skin, whether oily or dry, moisturizing creams should be used. In any case, do not use oily cream. Creams must protect the skin against sun, wind, cold and environmental dirt and other harmful effects. For daycare is the best to use lotion with SPF 20 (Protecting Day Lotion).
- For night care, use Aloe Propolis Creme, which works miraculously on irrigated areas. Or Aloe Moisturizing Lotion, which contains a lot of nutrients and moisturizes the skin.
- Once a week skin needs a good mask (Aloe Mask Powder) or peeling (Smoothing Exfoliator) to remove dead particles that have accumulated on the surface.
All products are based on aloe vera, which has anti-bacterial, anti-virus, and anti-fungal effects.
Nutrition
You have to consider that the skin needs care from the inside, appropriate nutrition. That means healthy eating and drinking enough water.
We (children, as adults) need to consume as much fruit and vegetables as possible. It is recommended to drink Aloe Vera. We need to ensure sufficient input of minerals, omega 3 and 9. Avoiding sugar and simple carbohydrates is essential.
We have to eat nutritious food, full of vitamins and minerals. Dishes should be prepared from seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Our body needs different nutrients. These are in addition to vitamins and minerals, trace elements, fats, antioxidants, and amino acids. We need to get them daily. If our way of living and eating is inadequate, it can lead to a lack of these essential elements.
If the body does not provide sufficient nutrient intake, it is advisable to take nutritional supplements that contain mainly plant and fruit extracts.
