Tips For Effective Cleaning in a Natural Way

Do you realize that our planet is getting dirty by cleaning?

A significant part of the cleaners that we find on the market can contain ingredients that are quite dangerous to us as well as to the environment. Many chemicals remain in us, and the environment because they are not biodegradable. Those chemicals can harm our health. Fortunately, there are many opportunities to avoid the dangers and to clean our home, car, laundry, and other surfaces, with entirely natural cleaners.

Carelessness In The Use Of Cleaners And Washing Powders

When the cleaning agents disappear into the drainage from the washbasins, bads, toilets, from the dishwashers and washing machines, we are not aking ourselves what happens with them. They do not exist anymore. Too often we do not burden ourselves, where they left, and what kind of burden they represent to the environment, and thus to us.

Have you ever wondered what way the cleaners have after we use them? Where do they go?

Already on the way through the sewage system, they “sneak” with other sewage. If we are lucky, they come to a cleaning system where they are appropriately degraded. Unfortunately, most of the sewage ends in rivers, groundwater, and the sea.

It also happens that the contaminated waters break into drinking water. Water is “cleaned” with chlorine.

Let’s look at what we are exposed to when handling cleaners. When cleaning, it is recommended to use protective gloves in order not to come into contact with a cleaning agent that may cause a hypersensitivity reaction. There are also those that cause severe skin burns and eye damage. Also, all dangerous gases, such as chlorine, can be released. Have you ever noticed when you clean the bathroom, you cannot breathe as you should, and maybe you have even pains in your nose? All this is due to chlorine compounds in aggressive cleaning agents.

What Can We Do To Clean Effectively In a Natural Way?

Laundry

We will relieve the environment by using only 1/3 of the prescribed quantity of detergent (which is quite enough), as stated on the packaging. We also must not fill the washing machine too much. Fill it to the point where we can still squeeze our hand to the back of the drum.

Instead of a fabric softener, we use distilled white vinegar. In addition to softening, it also cleans the drum and limescale. It also helps to improve washing efficiency.

What Do I Use To Wash My Laundry?

For many years, I have not used “conventional” washing powders, but bio, natural detergents.

For softening, I use vinegar to which I add some drops of essential oil (usually lavender *).

*Every essential oil is not appropriate because it can leave stains on the laundry.

Washing The Dish

I use a natural detergent for manual dishwashing.

Dishwasher – tabs designed for the dishwasher are so intensive that it is enough if you use half of the prescribed quantity. I buy ecological tabs. Maybe you can do it yourself. I have not come to this yet, but eventually, I will.

Instead of dish booster, I use vinegar, which also cleans well the dishwasher.

House Cleaning

I do not always clean the same method. Once I use water and vinegar, I add some essential oil for the second time. Sometimes I use baking soda, the next time I clean with a steam cleaner, and I also use Aloe MPD – Multi-Purpose Detergent (more on this at the end of this article).

The basis for cleaning is water and vinegar mixed in a ratio of 1: 1. Sprinkle and wipe with a microfiber cloth. The smell quickly disappears. Since I like to have a pleasant smell after cleaning, I also tackle it in other ways. Let’s see.

Cleaning With Essential Oils

The basis for preparing cleaners are distilled vinegar and baking soda. We strengthen them with essential oils (EO) of citrus (lemons, oranges, grapefruits). These essential oils are primarily known for its strong antibacterial effects. Therefore, we use them for disinfection. And besides that, your leaving space will smell nice.

So, we prepare a cleaner to clean every room:

Put three units of vinegar and four units of water into the bottle with a dispenser. Add 10-15 drops of EO lemon and orange. Sprinkle and spray on surfaces that we want to clean. Leave for a few minutes and then wipe with a damp cloth. You need to pay more attention to sensitive materials. EO lemon is not suitable for wood and copper.

We can use the mixture for disinfection of kitchen surfaces, garbage bins, kitchen utensils, appliances, bathrooms, etc.

Steam Cleaner

I feel the best when I clean with the steam cleaner. Without any effort, it removes dirt, also destroys bacteria, mites, and other allergens. For an even better feel, I first spray the surfaces with a universal EO cleaning agent, then after a few minutes, I am steaming the surfaces with steam.

Make The Room Smell Nice

Prepare a sprayer in which you pour water and add essential oils you like the most. EO eucalyptus disinfects space – at a time, when the risk of “attacking” viruses and bacteria is increased, you should repeatedly spray rooms with this mixture (several times a day).

You can also place various essential oils into the diffuser.

Multi-Purpose Detergent (MPD)

Do you want to make your work more comfortable? You can do this with a concentrate based on aloe vera. This hero is Forever MPD, a multi-purpose product for the laundry, dish, washing the floor, and even a bathroom.

Forever MPD is a liquid detergent that is very efficient and economical in use.

At the same time, it is also a cleaner for the entire household, floor, bathrooms, cleaning tiles and carpets, as well as for hand wash dishes. These illustrations you’ve made, the easy blog menu, the friendships you help to foster – it’s mostly amazing, and it’s really facilitating our son and the family know that the subject is amusing, and that is wonderfully fundamental. Thank you for the whole lot!
